Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and outdoor areas to identify pest activity and entry points.
- Apply pest control treatments using chemical agents safely and effectively, following pesticide management guidelines and integrated pest management strategies.
- Operate company vehicles, power tools, ladders, and farm machinery with safety and precision to access hard-to-reach areas.
- Implement pest control solutions tailored to specific infestations, including chemical applications and mechanical exclusion methods.
- Maintain detailed records of pesticide use, treatment locations, and client interactions to ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Educate customers on pest prevention techniques, safety procedures for chemical handling, and ongoing maintenance practices.
- Follow all safety protocols related to ladder use, confined space entry procedures, respiratory protection, and chemical handling to ensure personal and team safety at all times.
Experience
- Prior outdoor work experience in pest control, lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of pesticide application techniques, entomology principles, and integrated pest management practices.
- Familiarity with the safe operation of company vehicles and power tools used in outdoor environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery or other power equipment is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Ability to follow detailed safety procedures including ladder safety protocols, confined space entry safety procedures, respiratory protection requirements, and chemical handling guidelines.
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record preferred.
