One of the largest IT asset disposition companies in the world, EPC, is looking for on-site ITAD DE-man Laborer at our Wright City, Missouri facility. In this role, you will be responsible for disassembling end-of-life computer equipment down to raw materials. This is an essential part of EPC’s full-service solution and part of their mission to protect the environment. You will be a valuable member of our world-class recycling operations that allow us to safely remove and keep toxic materials out of the environment. EPC provides comprehensive hands-on training to develop qualified candidates into successful members of our team.

Brief Summary of Duties:
- Safely handle and disassemble a wide range of IT equipment, such as computers, monitors, servers, printers, and networking devices.
- Sort and categorize components for resale, refurbishment, recycling, or disposal.
- Remove and properly dispose of hazardous materials, including batteries and CRT monitors, in accordance with environmental regulations
- Using battery operated power drill, non -battery operated tools, including a heating plate to hand disassemble end of life electronic assets
- Unload and transport IT equipment using pallet jack.
- Identify and segregate materials off fast moving conveyor lines
- Adhering to all safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for everyone in the facility
- Daily housekeeping and cleaning of department and workstation
- Includes sitting, standing, bending, twisting and the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Other duties as assigned by department
Experience/Physical Activity Required:
- Basic understanding of electronic devices and components. Training will be provided on ITAD-specific procedures
- Prior experience or ability to learn to safely use power tools and pallet jack
- Able to perform repetitive tasks throughout the day in a standing position
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
Experience and/or Education Preferred:
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience in warehouse or electronic equipment dismantling, IT asset disposition, or related fields
- Familiarity with IT equipment, data destruction techniques, and recycling protocols is a plus
