Executive Personal Computers (EPC), a market leader in IT Asset Disposition and a subsidiary of CSI Leasing, has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time employee in the Newark, New Jersey area to assist with field projects.
We handle IT equipment refreshed from corporate environments, and provide asset recovery services and data security in an environmentally conscious manner. The IT Field Representative/Driver must have a flexible work schedule to meet our customer needs. At times, it may be necessary for you to work up to 14-hour days and travel overnight on out-of-town deliveries. Overnight travel includes premium pay and food/lodging expenses. A company vehicle will be provided for all work-related driving. All necessary training will be provided, along with daily support from our headquarters. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pickups and deliveries using a company-provided van
- Pack and wrap equipment on pallets for shipping and load trucks with pallets
- Wipe data from hard drives
- Identify equipment to be removed from customer�s facility
- Enter equipment list accurately into our software program
- Work and communicate professionally with the customer and headquarters
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class D (Operator) driver�s license
- Must have a good driving history (2 years with no accidents and no more than 2 minor moving violations)
- Obtain U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) certification within first 90 days
- Skilled with Windows based programs including Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
- Ability to operate moving equipment
- Must be physically able to stand, walk and carry items for long periods of time, frequently lift items weighing up to 50 pounds, work in confined spaces and regularly bend, twist and reach
