The Massachusetts Executive Office of Aging & Independence (AGE) is excited to host an American Connection Corps (ACC) AmeriCorps Member for the 2026–27 program year, and we’re looking for someone from our community to serve with us.
ACC, an AmeriCorps program of Lead For America, helps communities build the digital connectivity needed to expand opportunity and economic mobility.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re seeking a Digital Inclusion Fellow to serve with our team in Boston. In this role, the selected Fellow will support statewide digital inclusion and community engagement initiatives focused on expanding access to technology, digital skills, and community resources for older adults and other historically underserved populations. The individual will collaborate with community organizations, local aging services providers, and state partners to support projects, outreach, and resource development that strengthen digital opportunity and advance equitable access across Massachusetts. Day-to-day responsibilities may include coordinating projects and meetings, developing outreach and training materials, supporting community engagement efforts, conducting research, and helping share promising practices across the aging network.
WHAT TO EXPECT
As an ACC Member serving with AGE, you will:
- Serve full-time from September 2026 to August 2027, gaining hands-on experience and on-the-job training
- Receive a $33,000 living allowance and a $7,395 Segal AmeriCorps Education Award
- Participate in virtual and in-person training, professional development, and paid travel to two week-long national ACC convenings

Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, National, or Lawful Permanent Resident, have a high school diploma or GED, and be at least 17 years old by the start of service.
