Specialized Experience: To qualify for the GS-14 grade level, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable non-Federal experience. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing the following duties:

The duties and responsibilities for a Supervisory IT Specialist GS-2210-14 generally include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Serves as a Supervisory IT Specialist with responsibility for directing and managing enterprise information technology services, including customer support, network operations, communication systems, and systems administration.
- Provides oversight of end-user computing services, including desktop systems, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and telecommunications services.
- Monitors systems administration activities to ensure reliability, availability, and security of enterprise systems.
- Develops, implements, and maintains IT policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Plans and assigns work based on priorities and employee capabilities and establish performance standards and evaluate employee's performance.
Conditions of employment

- Advising on new and advanced technologies and determining the impact on operational effectiveness; and
- Managing the full lifecycle of enterprise-level IT systems, overseeing the planning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
