Overview
Executive Mosaic, a premier leader in Government Contracting media and executive networking, is hiring a Sales Executive focused on new business development. This is an excellent opportunity for a high-energy, goal-driven professional who thrives on prospecting, in-person networking, and building relationships with senior executives. You'll build your network, engage in high-profile events, and drive revenue across a growing portfolio of membership, sponsorship, and media offerings in the GovCon space.
Key Responsibilities
New Sales & Prospecting
- Drive new revenue by prospecting and cold-calling via email, phone, and LinkedIn
- Identify, qualify, and convert prospects into clients across targeted industries (Cyber, AI, Defense, Healthcare, etc.)
- Promote and sell executive memberships, event sponsorships, media advertising.
- Use Salesforce and LinkedIn for lead tracking, outreach, and pipeline management
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly new business goals
Executive Networking & Event Engagement
- Attend and represent Executive Mosaic at high-level events and forums (4x24 Executive Leadership Program and the Potomac Officers Club)
- Build in-person relationships with CXO-level executives and government leaders
- Serve as a brand ambassador at networking functions and company-sponsored events
- Use LinkedIn and social media to professionally engage, follow industry news, and participate in relevant discussions
- Assist in driving executive attendance and engagement at events through personal outreach and follow-up
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years outbound sales, new business development, or event sales experience
- Demonstrated ability to prospect and sell to senior-level decision makers
- Excellent communication skills with a polished, professional presence
- Comfortable attending and actively networking at live events
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficient with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and LinkedIn
- Ability to us ChatGPT and/or other LLM AI tools
- Energetic, self-motivated, and eager to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment
- Knowledge of or interest in the Government Contracting industry is a plus
