Job Details:
The HR Recruiter will identify, recruit, and screen potential employees for specific positions and has principal responsibility for working with branch management to onboard employees. They will mostly serve the local Indianapolis, IN area.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Manage all administrative tasks during the recruitment process from beginning to end for mostly non-exempt janitorial positions in the Indianapolis, IN area, including initial phone screen, setting up interviews, performing reference checks when applicable, completing new hire paperwork and orientation, completing employment verification, etc.
· Work closely with Operations Managers in order to ensure timely filling of open positions and understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant positions.
· Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
· As needed, may attend and/or organize job fairs or other networking opportunities.
· Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department as needed.
· Provide HR customer service to employees and others reaching out to the HR department.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with aptitude in conducting interviews.
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
· Associate’s degree in related field or 2 years equivalent experience in HR field with emphasis on recruiting or talent acquisition.
· Experience partnering with hiring managers at multiple levels.
· Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills.
· Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices.
· Experience with ATS platforms and recruiting technology.
Hours:
· Monday – Friday, 10:00am -2:00pm with flexibility.
· 100% on site
Additional Information:
· This position requires sitting for long periods of time.
· This position requires lifting, pushing, and/or pulling up to 25 pounds as needed.
· Occasional travel within the Indianapolis, IN area.
