Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Cleaner to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial and custodial services, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency. Prior experience in commercial, residential, or industrial cleaning is a plus, along with skills in floor care, buffing, and facilities maintenance. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a professional setting while developing valuable cleaning and maintenance skills.
Monday - Friday
6am - 2:30pm
$15.00/hour
Duties
- You will be cleaning the location while it is occupied during regular business hours. This includes continuous upkeep, such as restocking restrooms, wiping down high-touch surfaces, and immediately addressing issues that may arise.
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across different areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas
- Conduct detailed cleaning of windows, carpets, and upholstery as needed
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a safe work environment
- Restock supplies and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
- Support special cleaning projects such as industrial cleaning or deep sanitation procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning roles preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing is a plus!
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
