Director of Bakery
Position Summary:
Directly responsible for all P&L aspects of the In-Store Bakery.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Maintain Department GP% -- Includes costing of all scratch recipes, mix, and Thaw & Sell.
· Responsible for In-Store Bakery Marketing Plan -- Includes all merchandising tools, schematics, product itemization and pricing.
· Purchasing of all Bakery Products – Maintains authorized items and works with the DC as well as outside distribution sources.
· Supervision – Directs the Bakery Merchandisers and the Bakery Assistant.
· Equipment Purchasing – Responsible for researching all Bakery equipment used at store level. Coordinates purchases for new store equipment with Facilities.
· Education – Continues education and research of new bakery items and trends through available industry resources.
· AD Planner – Write and execute all Ads for In-Store Bakery.
· Ensure that all employees you are responsible for take their meal and breaks.

· College degree
Experience:
· 5 years experience in related field.
Skills:
· Communication Skills – Must have high level communication skills. The Position requires the ability to communicate with store level personnel and be understood as well as with Executive Management within the company and outside the company.
· Presentation Skills – Must be able to represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
