ABOUT THE ROLE

Executive Homes is an Oklahoma homebuilder that delivers the design quality and attention to detail of a custom builder with the efficiency and repeatability of a production operation. We build across the Tulsa and Oklahoma City metros with an in-house drafting team that owns construction documentation from concept to permit. We don’t outsource design or drawing production — the work happens here, by people who know residential construction.

We’re looking for an experienced drafter who can step in and take ownership of complex drawing tasks without needing a long runway. You’ll develop full construction document sets, manage plan revisions across an active library, and collaborate directly with project managers and field teams. This is an independent contributor role — we expect you to bring judgment, not just execution.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Develop complete construction document packages from concept layouts and design intent — floor plans, elevations, sections, and details
• Incorporate new elevation styles and architectural features onto existing floor plans, ensuring design consistency and constructability
• Produce and coordinate complex plan revisions and design modifications with accuracy and speed
• Interpret and translate structural, mechanical, and site coordination inputs into buildable drawing sets
• Maintain and improve plan documentation across an active library of residential plan sets
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to resolve drawing conflicts and support permit submissions
• Identify coordination issues and constructability problems before they reach the field

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 5 years of residential drafting experience — this is a hard requirement
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD; Bluebeam experience required
• Demonstrated ability to develop construction documents from rough layouts or design narratives
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and building codes
• Sharp eye for coordination issues — you catch problems before they become field calls
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Clear communicator who can explain drawing decisions to both technical and non-technical team members

COMPENSATION

STARTING SALARY

$75,000 / Year

Commensurate with experience

EARNING POTENTIAL

$100,000
