The RN (Service Supervisor) will be responsible for overseeing client cases and for leading a future staff of caregivers, as required by state regulations and other state and federal laws. This role starts with very few hours, remotely, allowing you to gradually ramp up your involvement as we grow. We’re looking for an RN who can help our agency obtain licensure and successfully open our doors!
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Conduct initial client assessments and develop individualized Care Plans
- Provide ongoing case management, including 60-day in-home visits and 30-day check-in phone calls
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and care team members
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with state regulations
- Promote safety, infection control, and quality standards across all care situations - Offer clinical support and guidance to caregivers in the field
- Be available to respond to client issues or emergencies as needed
- Collaborate closely with agency leadership as we build and grow
- Must be a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina for at least two years and hold an unencumbered license
- Strong clinical judgement and ability to assess patient needs
- Prior supervisory experience or confidence in leading and guiding support staff (CNA/HHA's)
- Experience working with older adults or interest in geriatric care, preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and documentation skills
- Highly organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently and remotely
- Adaptable and open to working within a growing startup environment
