Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident’s
- Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings to healthcare professionals
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks in accordance with health standards
- Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance
- Support residents with memory care needs related to Alzheimer’s disease or dementia by implementing specialized techniques and activities
- Document care activities accurately, update care plans regularly, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA
- Provide emotional support and companionship to promote social interaction and mental well-being
- Assist with mobility using appropriate equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident’s
for safe transfers
Requirements
- Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home, or group home settings preferred
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia is highly desirable
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks involved in patient transfers and mobility support
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams, residents, and families
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others through direct support and caregiving services

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
