Garage Door And Gate Technician

Executive Doors and Gates is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team. As a garage door and gate technician, your role will include diagnosing, repairing and installing garage doors and gates. We are a locally owned and operated, family run business.

Qualifications:

Physical strength and stamina are essential for this job. Some responsibilities require lifting and moving heavy equipment and materials. Skills/qualifications needed:

• The ability to operate hand tools and power tools
  • Three years of experience with some type of handywork/construction job is required
• Capable of heavy lifting (up to 75lbs)
• The ability to troubleshoot, solve problems and utilize critical thinking
• A self-starter who takes responsibility for their role
• The ability to follow dress-code, attendance and other business requirements
• Carpentry background and some welding is a plus but not required
• Able to work in a variety of weather conditions (this is an outdoor job)
• The ability to go up and down ladders multiple times

This job involves:

• Servicing garage doors and gates
• Installing garage doors and gates
• Problem solving as to why a garage door or gate isn't working as it should and working towards a solution for the client.
• Exceptional customer service as the technician deals directly with the client.

All applicants must pass a driving record and background check prior to being hired. We provide company trucks.
