We are currently seeking an experienced Auto Electrical Technician to join our production team.
Position Summary
The Auto Electrical Technician will be responsible for installing, assembling, and troubleshooting electrical systems used in custom vehicles. This role requires strong knowledge of 12-volt electrical systems, wiring harness fabrication, and modern automotive electronics.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and install custom wire harnesses
- Wire electronic control boards for LED lighting and vehicle systems
- Install and troubleshoot 12V electrical systems
- Work with fuses, relays, resistors, and proper wire gauge ratings
- Install automotive electronics such as stereo systems, alarms, and remote start systems
- Use soldering irons, torches, crimpers, and wire strippers to assemble electrical components
- Operate various hand tools and assembly equipment
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Experience working with automotive electrical systems preferred
- Knowledge of 12V wiring systems and electronic components
- Experience with soldering, crimping, and wiring assembly
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good attendance and reliability required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to twist, bend, and move frequently throughout the day
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to be on your feet approximately 90% of the workday
