Front Counter Associate – Executive Cleaners (Port Clinton, OH)
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Counter Associate for our dry cleaning pickup/drop-off location. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and supporting smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service or hospitality, with strong attention to detail and cleanliness. Starting at $15/hour (pay negotiable based on experience).
Shifts
Tuesday(9-5), Thursday(9-5), Saturday (9-1)
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their dry cleaning or laundry needs.
- Process customer orders efficiently, including checking in and out garments.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, including cashiering and daily balancing.
- Tag garments properly and assist with light laundry tasks when needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized front counter and work station at all times.
- Provide accurate information about services offered, including laundry plans and pricing.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate with management to ensure timely service delivery.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Familiarity with dry cleaning or laundry processes is a plus, but not required.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and payment processing.
- Ability to operate a register/POS system (training provided).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work independently and stay focused during slower periods.
