Payroll & Benefits Administrator
Washington, D.C. | Full-Time | Onsite
Salary: $110,000-$130,000
Executive Branch is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Manager to support payroll, benefits administration, employee onboarding and offboarding, HR operations, and select accounting functions. This position plays a critical role in ensuring a seamless employee experience while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality within an exclusive private members’ club serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process payroll accurately and timely, including compensation changes, bonuses, reimbursements, deductions, and reporting.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and leave programs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll and benefits inquiries.
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including new hire documentation, benefits enrollment, background checks, I-9 verification, exit procedures, and final payroll processing.
• Maintain employee records and HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Coordinate open enrollment and communicate benefits updates and educational resources to employees.
• Support recruitment and hiring initiatives as needed.
• Partner with payroll providers, insurance brokers, retirement plan administrators, and other external vendors.
• Assist with compliance reporting, audits, payroll tax documentation, and leave administration.
• Provide administrative and accounting support, including invoice review, coding verification, discrepancy resolution, data entry, reconciliations, and record maintenance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll administration, benefits administration, HR operations, or a related role.
• Experience with payroll processing, benefits administration, onboarding/offboarding, and HRIS systems required.
• Working knowledge of accounting or bookkeeping principles preferred.
• Experience in luxury hospitality, private clubs, family offices, luxury retail, or other high-touch service environments strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace; experience with QuickBooks, Toast, and Ramp preferred.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and operate effectively in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
