What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Director / Sr Manager, Financial Reporting position at Executive Alliance?
The CFO at one of our clients is hiring an Associate Director / Senior Manager, Financial Reporting on a hybrid basis (3 days on site, 2 days remote), reporting to the Director of Finance (who reports to the CFO). The client is based in western Suffolk County, Long Island, is pre-IPO, mid-sized, and growing fast organically and via acquisitions.
Base salary ~$150k to $190k / $200k, plus bonus, plus the potential for post-IPO equity.
This client is NOT open to sponsorship, and candidates must live on Long Island or in Queens.

Key Diverse Responsibilities
- 50% leading internal financial & operational reporting (some of which includes ‘big data’), quarterly bank reporting, prepare, analyze and review KPIs, dashboards, etc.
- 30% analysis, assisting with budgets, process improvements, etc.
- 20% accounting (mostly technical research & new guidance white papers), assisting with external audits
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- B.S. in Accounting
- MUST BE an active CPA
- 5 years of relevant, ‘hands on’ experience, preferably from a mix of experience in public accounting and private industry, but all private industry experience is ok.
