Job Description
- Oversee the purchasing process from quotation to vendor negotiation, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Track purchase orders, manage backorders, and collaborate with vendors to resolve issues proactively.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers to diversify sourcing and strengthen the supply chain.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business needs.
- Analyze data to optimize inventory levels and ensure product availability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing, fabrication, or machining environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with a keen ability to drive supplier performance and cost savings.
- Experience working with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred—but hands-on experience is valued just as highly.
