- Plan and control manufacturing activities within assigned production areas
- Execute production schedules according to the master plan
- Lead and supervise shift personnel to drive safety, productivity, and efficiency
- Ensure accurate reporting of production, scrap, machine utilization, and downtime
- Partner with tooling, maintenance, and processing teams to coordinate repairs and equipment adjustments
- Manage labor hours, attendance, and shift documentation
- Conduct coaching sessions, performance evaluations, and disciplinary documentation
- Participate in recruiting, screening, and hiring efforts
- Promote a culture of development, accountability, and teamwork
- Plan and manage warehouse and shipping operations for delivery efficiency
- Oversee receiving, storage, containment, and material handling processes
- Optimize staffing based on shipment schedules
- Ensure product quality during storage and transportation
- Participate in scheduled physical inventory events
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3 years of warehouse operations experience (for warehouse oversight)
- Experience in plastics manufacturing preferred
- Previous ERP system experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, spreadsheets, databases)
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to analyze production data and drive process improvements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
