This is a fast-paced, high-impact recruiting role focused on sourcing and onboarding CDL-A talent within a specialized transportation environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Recruit and qualify CDL-A drivers through job boards, referrals, lead generation, and recruiting platforms
- Conduct phone screenings and assess driver qualifications, experience, and safety history
- Manage candidates throughout the hiring and onboarding process
- Maintain communication and follow-up with applicants to ensure engagement and completion of onboarding requirements
- Coordinate with operations, safety, and compliance teams throughout the hiring process
- Update recruiting activity and candidate progress within the ATS system
- Support hiring efforts while ensuring compliance with company and DOT guidelines
- 2 years of driver recruiting experience required; transportation recruiting or high-volume industrial recruiting backgrounds will also be considered as strong transferable experience along with some driver recruiting experience
- Experience recruiting CDL-A drivers strongly preferred
- Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations preferred
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (Tenstreet highly preferred)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
- Strong organization and follow-through skills
