We are a nationally accredited nonprofit serving five counties in west-central Florida. The Opportunity: Strategic & Compassionate Leadership
The Chief Executive Officer will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure the organization’s mission alignment, financial sustainability, and community impact. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will be responsible for:
- Strategic Leadership: Collaborating with the Board to define and execute the organization’s vision and strategic priorities.
- Program Excellence: Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative programs that meet the evolving needs of the community.
- Fundraising & Resource Development: Driving a comprehensive fundraising strategy and cultivating key relationships with donors, foundations, and government partners.
- Financial Stewardship: Overseeing all financial management functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Community Advocacy: Serving as the primary spokesperson and a passionate advocate for the organization and the individuals it serves.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a balance of strategic vision, operational expertise, and a deep commitment to our mission.
- Nonprofit Leadership: A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years in senior management within a nonprofit organization.
- Fundraising Success: Proven success in leading fundraising strategies, cultivating major gifts, and securing support from diverse funding streams.
- Financial Acumen: Expertise in nonprofit finance, budgeting, and grant compliance for multi-million-dollar budgets.
- Strategic Execution: A track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic plans that drive organizational growth.
- Cultural Leadership: Experience fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing organizational culture.
Compensation & Benefits
The starting salary for this position is $140,000, negotiable based on experience, and includes an excellent benefits package.
