About EOTSS:
The Executive Office of Technology Services and Security (EOTSS) is the state’s lead office for information technology. We provide enterprise level information technology services including network management and security; computer operations; application hosting; desktop provisioning and management; and modern and responsive digital services to 40,000 internal stakeholders plus the residents, business owners and visitors to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
About this Role:
The EOTSS Accounts Management team is responsible for provisioning and deprovisioning employees. The team also manages accounts and network access for EOTSS and other state agencies. Accounts and networks, they manage include: active directory, outlook email, network shared, distribution lists, VPN, and several commonwealth applications as well as Office 365 license assignments.
Our Accounts Management Intern will participate in outreach to our supported agencies to “get to know” their applications and update our documentation. The intern will also assist with basic Accounts Management tasks like updating active directory attributes to standardize formats. For non EOTSS Account Management applications, the intern will identify who manages them, the number of users, and key contacts to help us better support our customers.
The primary work location for this role will be 200 Arlington Street Chelsea, Massachusetts 02150. The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 9AM to 5PM EST. This position would be expected to follow a hybrid model of reporting to work that combines in-office workdays and work from home days as needed.
The Summer Internship Program is a 10-week paid opportunity running from June 1 through August 7. To be eligible, applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university or be a recent graduate (May 2026 graduation date).
All offers of employment into this position are conditional and subject to passing: a Massachusetts Criminal Background Check (CORI); a security clearance (fingerprinting) consistent with IRS and/or public safety requirements; and security training.

Good communication and documentation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Familiar with Office 365
Presentation skills (will be presenting findings/information to the End User Support team)
Self-starter/work independently
Collaborate with Accounts Management Team
