Exco Extrusion Dies Inc. was established in 1997 following the foundation of Exco Technologies Limited in 1952. The Exco Extrusion Group has grown to include facilities in Canada, Texas, Colombia, Mexico, Italy and Brazil. The Exco Extrusion Group of manufacturing facilities are part of the largest producers of extrusion tooling globally. Our mission is to provide aluminum extrusion dies which will produce and assure long operating life. Our production capabilities exceed 4,500 dies a month, supporting extruders serving construction, automotive, and consumer goods markets.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 years of CNC machining experience. Experience with CAM programs- preferred
• Tool and die machining experience.
• Ability to read a print.
• Basic computer knowledge
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Ability to run more than one machine.
• Organization skills
• Basic math skills
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to pass a drug test and physical and be willing to undergo a background check.

All employees must be adaptable. Employees may be required to cross-train into other departments to provide flexibility to the organization.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Produces machined parts by setting up and operating a CNC machine. While maintaining quality and safety standards and maintaining equipment and supplies

• Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters.
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Programs mills by entering instructions setting tool registers, offsets, and compensation.
• Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Maintains specifications by taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, adjusting, and reprogramming controls, sharpening, and replacing worn tools.
• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
