MASTER AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN
EXCLUSIVE AUTO BROKERS – LONG BEACH, MS
We are looking for a experienced automotive technician who knows how to DIAGNOSE, PROGRAM, AND REPAIR vehicles.
If you can look at a vehicle with multiple warning lights, electrical problems, communication faults or computer issues and figure out what is actually wrong, we want to talk to you.
We work on ALL MAKES & MODELS and need someone who can handle everything from routine mechanical repairs to advanced electrical diagnostics and module programming.
THIS IS WHAT WE NEED YOU TO KNOW:
- ECM / PCM / TCM PROGRAMMING
- Vehicle module programming and setup
- Advanced computer diagnostics
- Electrical diagnostics
- Wiring and electrical troubleshooting
- CAN bus / communication diagnostics
- Sensor diagnostics
- Distance/radar sensor diagnostics
- Parking sensor diagnostics
- ADAS-related diagnostics
- A/C diagnostics and repair
- Engine diagnostics and repair
- Transmission diagnostics and repair
- Diesel diagnostics and repair
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics
- Ability to use professional scan tools and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to diagnose problems
YOUR JOB:
You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles from basic maintenance to difficult electrical and mechanical problems.
You'll perform:
- Advanced vehicle diagnostics
- Electrical troubleshooting and repair
- ECM/TCM/module programming
- Engine repairs and overhauls
- Transmission repairs
- Brake and suspension repairs
- A/C repairs
- Sensor and electrical repairs
- Some diesel repair
- Routine maintenance
- Vehicle inspections
- Troubleshooting of warning lights and computer faults
- Module and communication-system diagnostics
WE WANT A TECHNICIAN WHO:
KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING.
You should be able to:
✔ Diagnose the problem
✔ Find the root cause
✔ Explain what is wrong
✔ Make the repair
✔ Program the vehicle when necessary
✔ Verify the repair
✔ Move on to the next vehicle
We're looking for someone who can work independently and doesn't need someone standing over their shoulder all day.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician / Mechanic
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Strong electrical and diagnostic experience
- Experience with professional scan tools
- Ability to diagnose multiple makes and models
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical information
- Valid driver's license
- Dependable and motivated
- Able to work independently
BIG PLUS:
- ASE Master Certified
- ECM/PCM/TCM programming experience
- OEM diagnostic experience
- Advanced electrical experience
- ADAS experience
- Diesel experience
- Welding experience
ASE certification is a PLUS — but experience and the ability to actually diagnose and repair vehicles is what matters most.
