What You Bring
- Proven experience in perioperative nursing, with a strong understanding of surgical procedures and protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced operating room setting.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff.
- Strong patient advocacy skills, with a focus on safety, comfort, and confidentiality.
- Flexibility to accommodate shift variability, including designated late stays when cases run over.
- Commitment to adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of perioperative or operating room nursing experience preferred.
- Prior experience working in a hospital surgical setting, preferably in a similar facility.
- Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) is a plus but not required.
- Current and active RN License in the state of practice.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
- Weekly stipend of $360.84, with a taxable weekly pay of approximately $538.43.
