You will manage patient care for those undergoing conscious sedation for specialized procedures, conducting thorough nursing assessments, providing peri-operative education, and monitoring for post-anesthesia and post-operative complications. What You Bring
- A valid RN license and current BLS certification, with ACLS preferred for enhanced patient care.
- Proven experience in PACU or similar peri-operative environments, with the ability to adapt to different outpatient settings efficiently.
- Strong assessment skills, including recognizing post-anesthesia complications and intervening promptly.
- Excellent communication skills to educate patients pre- and post-procedure, ensuring a smooth recovery process.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility and resilience to manage a fast-paced outpatient care environment effectively.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of PACU or peri-operative nursing experience, especially in outpatient surgery or endoscopy labs.
- Prior experience working in a hospital or outpatient surgical center is highly desirable.
- Weekly taxable pay of $2,248.40
- Weekly stipend of $1,246.00
- Guaranteed hours of 36 per week
