ROLE SUMMARY: The Maze Lead supports daily operations of the Cowtown Cattlepen Maze by assisting the Maze Supervisor in executing a safe, organized, and high-quality guest experience. This role serves as a shift leader, guiding Maze Attendants, enforcing operational standards, and ensuring smooth day-to-day execution.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Support daily maze operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring all areas are ready for guest arrivals.

Act as shift leader when the Maze Supervisor is absent or tasks are delegated, providing guidance and oversight to Maze Attendants.

Coordinate group arrivals, check-ins, and special events to ensure smooth guest flow and an organized experience.

Enforce safety policies, rules, and guest conduct standards to maintain a safe environment.

Provide ongoing direction, support, and feedback to Maze Attendants throughout their shift.

Address guest questions, concerns, or minor issues promptly and professionally to maintain high satisfaction.

Monitor and maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of all maze areas, including pathways, signage, and props.

Assist with ticketing operations, basic cash handling, and reporting as needed.

Communicate operational, safety, or maintenance concerns to the Maze Supervisor promptly.

Conduct periodic walkthroughs to ensure adherence to operational and safety standards.

Assist in training new Maze Attendants and mentoring staff to uphold service excellence.

Participate in team meetings and pre-shift briefings to support operational goals.

ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.

Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 25 lbs regularly.

Comfortable working in indoor/outdoor environments and varying temperatures.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position provides day-to-day direction to Maze Attendants.

Delegate responsibilities and manage break coverage to maintain smooth shift operations.

Reinforce company policies, safety procedures, and dress code standards consistently.

Act as the primary point of contact for staff questions, providing support and guidance as needed.

Identify and escalate complex or unresolved issues to the Maze Supervisor promptly.
