 Cook I is responsible for preparing and cooking food in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Embody the shared values of Hotel Drover 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a demanding, fast paced environment.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes and specifications.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and facilities in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.
• Assist with inventory and ordering of food and supplies.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a valid current Food Handlers Card or willingness and ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
• Must know all applicable health standards.
• Has ability to work well with a team
