This is a full-time, in-person position at the Center's Central Office in Jackson, TN. Employment with the Exchange Club - Carl Perkins Center will be contingent upon results from Federal, State, and Local Criminal History Background checks.

The Exchange Club - Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse is seeking an Events/Marketing Assistant. The person filling this role will work closely with the Events/Marketing Coordinator in developing and overseeing tasks throughout Center events.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with specified committees to plan and execute event-related tasks.
- Meet with vendors and sponsors prior to events to coordinate logistics and support.
- Assist with event setup and cleanup to ensure smooth operations.
- Run errands as needed, including collecting supplies and decorations for events.
- Work collaboratively with the Board, Exchange Club, Staff, and Volunteers to ensure the development, implementation, and successful completion of events.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, development, fundraising, or a related field.
- Minimum of one year of related experience.
- Self-starter with demonstrated leadership qualities.
- Strong support for teamwork values.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fifteen (15) paid holidays yearly
