JOB DESCRIPTION
REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s degree in Counseling or Social Work
Licensed Eligible
PREFERRED:
ALC, LPC, LCSW, LMSW
DUTIES:
- Provides counseling to child and adult survivors of all forms of abuse.
- Conducts initial intake assessments and treatment plans related to helping clients accomplish goals in treatment
- Facilitates therapeutic/supportive groups to deal with target issues of client populations
- Provides current and accurate documentation of all services provided and participates in staff and peer-to-peer meetings
- Communicates well orally and in writing on intakes, progress notes, treatment support plans and other client related services
- Maintains appropriate communication with referral sources and other agencies about clients in common and makes referrals of client to additional area resources as needed
- Researches, attends, and participates in staff and training activities related to continuing education
- Assists Executive Director by providing necessary information related to the writing of grant reports and proposals
- Maintains outcome measures for grants
