We are seeking a Direct Support Staff, also known as a Professional Support Instructor (PSI), to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the lives of adults with intellectual and/or physical disabilities. Your responsibilities will include light housekeeping, errands, and transporting to medical appointments, all aimed at improving the client’s living environment and standards. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Complete Transfers
- Light housekeeping activities
- Provide companionship
- Assist with bathing
- Assist with laundry
Qualifications
- Be able to pass a DOJ live scan
- Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
- Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, respectful, and ethical
