Position Summary
The Exceptional Logistics Delivery Specialist is responsible for safely, accurately, and efficiently delivering Amazon packages to residential and commercial customers while providing outstanding customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism, ensuring every package reaches its destination on time and in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle while following all traffic laws and company safety standards.
- Load, organize, and deliver Amazon packages according to assigned delivery routes.
- Use handheld mobile devices to navigate routes, scan packages, and complete delivery confirmations.
- Deliver packages accurately and within scheduled timeframes while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Perform vehicle inspections before and after each shift and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage during transportation and delivery.
- Follow all Amazon delivery procedures, company policies, and customer service standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional delivery vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers when necessary.
- Adapt to changing weather conditions, route adjustments, and delivery priorities.
- Maintain a positive attitude while working independently throughout the day.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age (or meet company insurance requirements).
- Previous delivery, logistics, warehouse, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using GPS navigation and mobile technology.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently enter and exit the delivery vehicle throughout the shift.
- Walk, climb stairs, bend, squat, and stand for extended periods.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
