What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Physical Therapist position at Exceptional Kidz Rehab?
We’re looking for a compassionate and motivated Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team!
Our clinic provides comprehensive pediatric services, including Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech Therapy, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). We believe in a collaborative, family-centered approach that supports each child’s unique needs and helps them build the skills they need to succeed.
What You’ll Do
- Provide individualized, play-based physical therapy services to children with a variety of developmental and physical needs.
- Evaluate motor skills, mobility, balance, coordination, strength, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support each child’s growth and independence.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and our multidisciplinary team of PT, OT, speech, and ABA professionals.
- Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support progress beyond the clinic.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress toward individualized goals.
What We’re Looking For
- Current Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure in New York.
- Experience or a strong interest in pediatric therapy.
