What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAREGIVER position at Exceptional Home Care Inc?
Description
Caregivers are expected to preform tasks listed in individual care plans that will be provided for each client. These tasks may include assistance with baths, showering, oral hygiene, changing linen, laundry, cooking, cleaning, feeding, dressing, and keeping client's home clean and orderly. Caregivers should expect to provide companionship tasks assist their clients with social needs such as talking, walking, escorting them to and from appointments or errands.
Caregivers should be able to report changes in client's condition when needed to supervisors. Caregivers should be able and willing to work with different types of clients and demonstrate empathy to each individual person.
Requirements
1. At least 18 years old
2. Can demonstrate competency to understand and preform the tasks required on an individual care plan
3. Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
4. Empathy for the needs of the ill, elderly, injured, disabled, frail, mentally impaired and/or physically impaired
5. Demonstrates tact, patience, professional presence, and compassion
6. Dependable and able to show up to assigned shifts on time and ready to complete services
Salary : $11 - $13
