What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hairstylist/Braider position at Exceptional Haircare & Spa?
Overview
Be your own boss you get the opportunity to rent your own station and run your business. Each station will come with one salon chair, mirror and storage space to keep your equipment and products. You can book and schedule your own clients around your own availability with the potential to work with walk-in customers as well. You have two payment options to claim a station $750 monthly or $200 weekly. A deposit of $200 is required alongside of whichever payment option you choose on starting day. The hours of the salon are Monday through Saturday between the times of 9am to 11pm. Only thing we ask is that you keep you station clean when leaving the salon at the end of your workday and be respectful to all clientele and staffed present within the shop
Duties
- Provide professional hair styling, braiding, and hair extension services tailored to client preferences
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools
- Offer personalized consultations on hair care, color options, and styling techniques based on client needs
- Stay updated on current trends in hair styling and braiding
Experience
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Ability to perform sanitation procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Certification in cosmetology is necessary (required license)
