Overview
We are seeking a skilled Finisher/Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and the ability to work with different materials. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all projects meet our high standards of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment to achieve desired finishes.
- Mix paints and other materials according to specifications and project requirements.
- Perform trim carpentry and frame carpentry as needed to support painting projects.
- Install cabinets and perform metal stud framing when required.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various tasks related to painting and installation.
- Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate execution of designs.
- Lift heavy materials as necessary while maintaining safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Painter or in a similar role within the construction or renovation industry.
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools relevant to painting and carpentry tasks.
- Knowledge of trim carpentry, frame carpentry, CNC operations, cabinet installation, metal stud framing, caulking, and reading schematics is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job duties.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
