As Assistant Dean of Students, you will play an important role in helping maintain a strong, supportive student culture. This position is centered on student support, problem-solving, and partnership across the school community, helping scholars navigate challenges while reinforcing high expectations and a mission-driven approach to learning and growth.
Responsibilities- Support de-escalation and proactive solutions for scholars in elementary through middle school.
- Facilitate and support the organization of school-wide events.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in youth development.
- Experience working with children in an elementary and middle school setting, or other experience working with kids.
- Background in behavior support, school culture, or discipline work in a school setting, including experience with de-escalation and restorative practices.
- Experience coordinating student-facing activities and events.
- Strong communication skills with students, teachers, school leaders, and families.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Availability for occasional evenings.
- Experience with behavior tracking systems.
- Familiarity with PBIS.
- Familiarity with MTSS.
