This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Laboratory Scientist, located in Excelsior Springs, MO. The Medical Laboratory Scientist will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, analyzing clinical specimens, and maintaining laboratory equipment. Daily tasks include performing quality control procedures, ensuring laboratory compliance with regulations, and accurately documenting and reporting test results.
- Proficiency in Medical Technology and Laboratory Skills
- Experience in Laboratory Medicine and Pathology
- Strong skills in Quality Control and ensuring lab compliance
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP) or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field
- Experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting is a plus
