Responsibilities:
- Administer medication to patients according to prescribed orders and protocols
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications
- Document medication administration and patient responses accurately in electronic medical records systems such as PCC.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure proper medication management and patient safety
- Provide support and care for patients with special needs
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols in an acute care setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as PCC
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documenting medication administration and patient responses
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with healthcare team members
