Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, support, and evaluate nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, and CNAs).
- Assist DON/ADON in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing services.
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations.
- Participate in facility surveys, inspections, and Quality Assurance meetings.
- Monitor and assess residents, providing interventions for changes in condition.
- Oversee care planning, documentation, and MDS completion.
- Conduct daily rounds to monitor staff performance and resident care.
- Handle complaints, grievances, and incident investigations.
- Support staffing decisions to ensure proper coverage and continuity of care.
- Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years as a nursing supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related setting; at least 6 months of experience in rehabilitative/restorative nursing practices.
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of New Jersey.
