Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the maintenance department to ensure a safe, compliant, and fully operational facility.
- Lead, supervise, and assign tasks to maintenance personnel to ensure productivity and efficiency.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment, building systems, and physical structures for performance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and maintain staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage for all maintenance activities.
- Accurately document repairs, warranties, inspections, and maintenance logs.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal maintenance standards and regulations.
- Coordinate, schedule, and oversee repairs, upgrades, and facility improvement projects.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency maintenance requests.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager in a skilled nursing facility.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage a team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, equipment maintenance standards, and facility compliance requirements.
