Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up resident meal trays according to individual dietary needs.
- Deliver and collect trays promptly and courteously, ensuring meals reach the correct residents.
- Break down trays and handle their contents with care.
- Maintain cleanliness after each meal service, including trash disposal, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work areas.
- Assist with food preparation for special events and celebrations.
- Deliver daily snacks and ensure food carts are transported to designated areas.
- Support departmental protocols, policies, and health regulations to maintain a safe environment.
- Contribute to a positive dining experience for residents and their families.
- Dependable, with the ability to read and write in English.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dietary role within a nursing home, hospital, or similar healthcare setting.
- Strong teamwork skills and a resident-focused mindset.
- Ability to work efficiently and uphold cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.
