We are in need of a PT Tech with a strong work ethic who can work collaboratively in a multimodal approach that is PATIENT-CENTERED! Our PT Techs need to be self-motivated, very organized, and caring.
What physical demands should you be aware of?
General Demands for the Physical Therapy Tech position are listed under the 'medium duty’ category in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles as published by The U.S. Department of Labor. The physical demands incorporated at The Injury Care Center are not to exceed this level. All employees should seek assistance from another individual to prevent any lifting beyond a 50 lb level. The Sit/Stand/Walk ratios tend to be equal at 33% of the day. This ratio remains within the control of the therapist depending on the task that needs to be accomplished.
