Radiologic Technology Instructor - Nashville, TN

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Occasional evenings/weekends during busy periods)
Excelon Associates is recruiting on behalf of a leading allied health education provider seeking a Radiologic Technology Instructor to join its growing team in Nashville, Tennessee. This full-time role provides the opportunity to teach and mentor the next generation of imaging professionals through engaging instruction across classroom, lab, and clinical settings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate both technical expertise and a genuine commitment to fostering compassionate, high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lectures, labs, and clinical instruction in Radiologic Technology in alignment with established course outlines.
- Develop innovative teaching materials using multimedia platforms, simulation tools, and virtual/augmented reality applications.
- Provide ongoing student support through coaching, academic advising, and structured feedback.
- Collaborate with faculty and program leadership on curriculum updates and assessment of student learning outcomes.
- Participate in professional development and maintain current knowledge of trends and best practices in radiologic technology.
- Assist in program review, accreditation processes, and advisory board meetings.
- Contribute to departmental planning, faculty meetings, and student recruitment efforts.
- Utilize Canvas (LMS) and other educational technologies to support hybrid and distance learning.
- Oversee and evaluate student performance across multiple clinical education sites.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Health Science, or Healthcare Administration.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a licensed Radiologic Technologist.
Preferred:
- Previous college-level teaching or clinical instruction experience.
- Advanced modality certifications (CT, MRI, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, etc.).
- Knowledge of radiology information systems (RIS, PACS, Epic) and HIPAA compliance.
- Experience in curriculum development, student outcome assessment, and accreditation processes.
- Demonstrated ability to use innovative instructional technology and foster student engagement.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
