We are currently seeking a Senior Quality Control Inspector who thrives on precision and excellence and can step into a hands-on leadership role within our aerospace QC team, guiding and mentoring others in a collaborative capacity, with the potential for this role to evolve into a formal supervisory position in the future. This position offers the opportunity to guide day-to-day quality activities, mentor fellow inspectors, and influence process improvements while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide guidance and leadership within the management team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Process and manage deviations for both customer and internal projects.
- Perform complex inspections using both manual gages and advanced programmable equipment to verify conformance with specifications.
- Document inspection results with accuracy and clarity, using both forms and software systems.
- Follow and ensure adherence to procedures, work instructions, standards, and customer-specific requirements.
- 7 years of Quality Control experience in precision machining.
- Strong understanding of CNC Job Shop
- Proven ability to guide, mentor, and influence team members to achieve quality goals.
- Expertise in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Aerospace industry experience a plus.
- Proficiency with tools such as comparators, height gauges, micrometers, calipers, and indicators.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with quality standards such as AS9100.
- Computer proficiency a MUST
