Practice Manager – Excellent Pediatrics (Monroe & Lilburn, GA)
Full-Time | On-Site | Pediatric Medical Practice
Excellent Pediatrics, a well-established pediatric practice serving families across Walton and Gwinnett Counties, is seeking an experienced and highly organized Practice Manager to lead daily operations across our two locations. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of medical office workflows, and hands-on experience with pediatric EMRs, billing, coding, and patient financial management.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of a busy pediatric practice, ensuring efficient patient flow, high-quality service, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Manage staff scheduling, performance, onboarding, and training across both locations.
Utilize and optimize eClinicalWorks (preferred) or other EMRs to ensure accurate documentation, scheduling, and reporting.
Supervise billing and revenue cycle processes, including:
CPT/ICD-10 coding accuracy
Charge posting
Claim submission and follow-up
Managing denials and appeals
Monitor and manage patient balances, set up payment plans, and ensure effective communication regarding financial responsibilities.
Navigate and manage GRITS (Georgia Registry of Immunization Transactions & Services) for vaccine documentation, reconciliation, and compliance.
Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to maintain high standards of patient care and satisfaction.
Oversee inventory, vaccines, supplies, and equipment.
Generate and analyze financial and operational reports to support practice growth and decision-making.
Maintain practice policies, compliance (HIPAA, OSHA, Medicaid/insurance requirements), and quality-improvement workflows.

Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of medical office management experience, preferably in pediatrics or family medicine.
Strong expertise in billing, coding, and revenue cycle management.
Hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks or other EMR systems.
Familiarity with GRITS and pediatric immunization workflows.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage a multi-location team.
Knowledge of insurance plans, Medicaid, managed care, and patient financial counseling.
Strong proficiency in reporting, analytics, and administrative workflows.
