Job Description
Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Part Time– Port St Joe, FL
The PTA will be a pivotal part of our team, supporting patients striving to improve their physical function and quality of life.
Job Responsibilities:
· Assist the physical therapist (PT) in patient treatment, handling and management
· Perform the manual therapy and other treatments as prescribed by the PT
· Educate patient and their family,
· Prepare progress notes and keep electronic medical record (EMR) up to date
Job Requirements:
· Active Florida PTA licensure
· 1-8 years of experience. We will consider a fresh graduate who is willing to learn.
· Out-patient clinic experience is preferred
· Experience of electronic medical record (EMR) system, preferably WebPT
· Friendly and patient-care oriented
· Ability to work under limited supervision
Pay: $23.53 - $28.33 per hour
Work Location: In person
