About the Role
This role is responsible for preparing financial reporting, maintaining general ledger accounts, performing consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting tax filings, audits, and budgeting processes. This role often works closely with AR, AP, and Cost accounting teams to improve the accuracy of financial data and efficiency of accounting operations.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for preparing the month-end close, consolidated financial statements, and monthly reporting package to the headquarters
- Manage general ledger, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and journal entries
- Analyze financial data, including inventory and cost
- Coordinate with the warehouse team for the monthly inventory audit and cycle count
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Support audits and tax filings, providing required documentation
- Review and resolve accounts payable and receivable issues
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support management with financial insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English
- Knowledge of cost accounting
- Experience with SAP is required
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, SAGE or NetSuite
- Knowledge of tax preparation and compliance with Sox regulations
- Working experience at manufacturing environment and public trade companies is a plus
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus
