Responsibilities:
- Plans and teaches collaboratively with the grade-level team to implement best practices that support the success of all learners.
- Plans purposefully to provide students with meaningful opportunities to construct knowledge and deepen understanding of new concepts.
- Applies high-quality curriculum resources that promote student growth and align with required educational expectations.
- Introduces new ideas and concepts using varied instructional strategies, inspiring and guiding students to explore, express, and develop their own thinking.
- Administers, collects, and analyzes qualitative and quantitative data from a range of student assessments.
- Builds strong relationships with students’ families through consistent communication regarding progress and by offering ways families can support learning at home.
- Participates in school-wide assessments to identify and address student needs.
- Supervises students during lunch and/or recess.
- Provides other support as needed by the school community.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Minimum of 1 year lead teaching experience.
- Desire to develop their expertise in the classroom.
- Pursuing pathway to teaching certification.
- Salary Range: $58,516- $62,079, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
