About the Role
We are seeking an energetic and patient Ballet Instructor to teach after-school enrichment classes for preschool and elementary students. You will introduce young children to dance through fun, age-appropriate lessons that build coordination and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach fundamental ballet and creative movement in a positive environment.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement.
- Ensure student safety and adapt lessons to children's energy levels.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with school staff and students.
Requirements & Preferences
- Background: Strong ballet foundation and a passion for working with young kids.
- Language: Professional English proficiency (clear verbal communication required).
- Skills: High patience, creativity, strong classroom management, and adaptability.
- Experience: Prior experience teaching young children (preschool/elementary) preferred.
- Availability: Available weekday afternoons between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
- Clearance: Able to pass background screening (Florida Clearinghouse).
